Issue 4, Oct/Nov 2018
This issue is focused on why it’s so important to look at our industry from the bottom up instead of the top down. As a part of the Rochester East High Precision Optics program, we volunteer our time and give students valuable work experience to be sure that the next group of graduates is able to have a career in the optics community, or continue on for additional coating education at MCC or further afield.
We’re also paying attention to ways of making it easier to do business with us, so here is the next installment of our highly popular 9 Top Tips for Coating on Plastics. This is also downloadable for easy sharing with your team for a head start on your next glass coating project.
AccuCoat is a yearly supporter of Artists Unlimited performances. If you are in the Rochester, NY area and are looking for some family entertainment, we encourage you to attend Disney’s The Little Mermaid during November. AU provides performing arts opportunities for people with physical and/or developmental disabilities.
Happy Fall!
How We are Supporting Optics Training in Rochester
In this video created by Causewave, Patrick Iulianello describes why AccuCoat stays involved with the Rochester City School – East High Optics Program and why it is so important for manufacturers to continue to support local training efforts for optics skill-building.
We are so pleased to have been named a finalist this year in the 2018 Technology & Manufacturing Awards for our efforts in Workforce Development.
